in between going to galleries friday afternoon i stopped at 2:10pm to take the photo above, joining worldwide moment.

my friend alison and i stopped at a small health food store each morning to get fresh juice and fruit for breakfast.  we also ate at small cafes, delicious thai restaurants annnd my favorite... i got to go to oneluckyduck twice! well worth the walk to this mini haven in the midst of the city. the best.

i took my first ferry ride across the hudson... 

and got to see the skyline light up as the sun set...

it was really a wonderful time spent with my friends and inspiring to listen to amazing performers and speakers...watch films, listen to lectures... totally in over my head but so good.

can't wait to go back at the end of the month to visit space 38|39 ...

it was great to work with so many creative people - very inspiring.  i often found myself wanting to just stand against a wall and watch as they prepared and shot scenes.

i wasn't looking to have a show of any kind, but my friend dave was showing there and suggested my photos to eastern and they asked me to exhibit.  i couldn't have done this without carissa, krystin, my brother, my dad, my boss, jay and alison. i've had so much support and guidance.

the show will be up until the end of february. 

...and in other news, as i'm sure you're well aware, this snow is crazy!

thank you, for the nice afternoon. and not complaining about being coatless in the cold.  thank you carissa for being there as well. thanks to the guys for waiting in the cold.  

anddd we all had the best dinner&dessert afterwards.

i really enjoyed spending the week in their little home.  like carissa said, we spent our time taking photographs, cooking/baking, doing yoga, drinking lots of tea, visiting cafes, sharing inspiration and talking of things to come. it was such a wonderful time.

i miss them a ton. but it won't be long before we work together again.
